The Church constructed in the XIIIth century, and that is part of the set of stately constructions of the Treasury Department of Roda, was donated to the episcopate of Cartagena in 1908 by Concepcion Melgarejo and I Ream, daughter of the count of the Vale of Saint John, and wife of Rafael de Urbina and Ceballos-Escalera, Marquess of Rozalejo.

The temple was quite damaged after it was falling down it divides of his structure a few months ago. With the contributions of the insurance and of Town hall there have been done the necessary arrangements, to which there is added the acquisition and laying of the new bell and of the clock, supported by the parishioners across the drawings achievement.

 The clock has substituted the old one of wood that was not working and that was placed in the first half of last century, after there was raised her tower of this chapel of the Remedies. (fte. Region of Murcia)
